KEEP HER AND HER FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS. <3
Im addict to porn and masturbation I can't stop ive tried. I've prayed and everything and i don't know what to do anymore. Can you help me?
Prayer works it’s true. But sometimes just talking to God isn’t enough. Maybe instead of begging God to make you stop, because he does give you a free will, chase after his heart with all that you have. The closer you get to God, the less important everything else seems. Literally fall on your knees and be willing to give up everything in order to pick up your cross and follow him. When you get to the point where you’re so stuck in this sin, you need to make sure that you surround yourself with the right people too.
Praying and seeking the Lord is a must, indeed. However, conviction to stop has to be received, as well. Talk to your pastor (recommended), a minister, an elder in your church, for guidance and prayer. I used to struggle with this, too. To a point where I was disgusted with myself, because I’d fall and fall and fall, all over again. My problem was that I needed a reason to stop. I was not clear on masturbation being a sin, so I’d try to justify it beforehand; having a result of guilt and shame. Obviously indicating it was. My pastor pointed out 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
Watching porn is committing lust; adultery. Masturbating is committing fornication (that’s if you’re not married, because you’re basically having sex with yourself).
"But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matthew 5:28)
“Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.” (1 Corinthians 6:13)
"Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18)
"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." (Galatians 5:16)
"Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." (Galatians 5:19-21)
"Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." (Colossians 3:5)
"For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God…" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5)
"For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world." (1 John 2:16)
Distract yourself, the second you get the temptation to do it. Put on some worship music, read the Word, get an accountability partner that you can call or talk to, repeat the name of Jesus Christ out loud and demons flee, because this struggle is spiritual; you will not be able to stand on your own, you will fall.
"For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace." (Romans 8:6)
"For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." (Galatians 6:8)
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." (Philippians 4:8)
"But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death." (James 1:14-15)
"Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul." (1 Peter 2:11)
"How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!" (Psalm 119:9-10)
"And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person." (Mark 7:20-23)
"I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me." (Psalm 101:3)
Confess your sin. Ask for forgiveness. Repent. And do not lose hope, if you do not overcome right away. But persevere to maintain yourself pure.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
"…since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16)
I’ll be praying, for you, anon :) God bless you.

those who hope in me will not be disappointed. Isaiah 49:23, NIV.
What a powerful promise we have from Almighty God! When we put our hope in Him, we will never be disappointed. Of course, that doesn’t mean that things will always go our way. There may be temporary disappointments, but we will never be permanently disappointed. Somewhere down the road, God will cause it to all work out for our good. With God on your side, you will always end in victory!
Are you carrying frustration, worry or aggravation about something? That’s usually a clear sign that your hope is in the wrong place. If you hope in circumstances, it will deplete you of joy and peace. But when you turn those circumstances over to God, when you refuse to worry, when you refuse to allow the temporary things of this world to dictate your happiness, that’s when God can do a work in your life. When you trust in Him, He will make your crooked places straight; He will cause you to mount up with wings like the eagle.
Today, choose to put your hope in the Father; you won’t be disappointed. Trust Him because He is faithful. Find rest for your soul in knowing that He is good, and He has good things in store for your future!
The lynch mob doesn’t want truth. It doesn’t want redemption or righteousness either. With the shame of the woman they had tasted blood. Now they wouldn’t back down until their desire was satiated. No word could hold them back. They would press Jesus till they had what they wanted. But then Jesus spoke a word they had not expected. It was a heaven-sent word. It was a word rooted in truth and a word that struck their very soul. They knew they were not sinless. This word of truth penetrated to the hearts of those who were mature and knew both life and law. As Jesus glanced away to write in the dust, he gave them permission to leave without being shown up. For a brief moment, righteousness triumphed over hatred and self-importance. Those who were younger followed the example of the older men, leaving the woman protected and safe with Jesus. Redemption in action. The Gospel portrayed before our very eyes. Jesus takes the hate of hell and our own sin and turns back the foe, leaving us safe and in his presence.
Revelation 3:8. He’s already set everything up for you. Deviate as you wish for we have free will, but that’s risky business. Take advantage of the opportunities he has set before you. #God #Jesus #doors #oportunities #open
Have you ever thought about the fact that a boat can be surrounded by water, sailing through a vast ocean with water for miles in every direction, but it’s not any problem unless the boat starts taking on the water? If the boat starts allowing the ocean to come inside, before long, it will sink.
The same principle is true in life. You can have trouble all around you—stress, frustration and worry. But the good news is, just like that boat, you don’t have to allow what’s on the outside get on the inside. When difficult times come, you don’t have to be overwhelmed by the waves of worry or fear. What should you do? Follow the example of Jesus. When He was in the midst of the storm, He stood up and spoke to the storm.
Always remember, no matter what storms may come against you, the Greater One lives on the inside of you. Turn to Him and walk in His power. Don’t let the storm in, and speak peace to every area of your life!
